What are the prettiest beaches around? Puerto Escondido ?
The Pacific coast around Puerto Escondido full of beaches, coves, rocky areas ideal both for relaxing and for practicing Surf, snorkeling or walking.
Note that while some large beaches are quite lively with restaurants, bars, beach clubs, other sites are much more peaceful.
Puerto Angelito
A small, picturesque beach with calm waters, perfect for swimming.
Carrizalillo Beach
If you are looking for a quieter beach. This is very good for swimming and even snorkeling.

In the same genre, it is a fairly quiet beach lined with palm trees, an easy beach to spend a few hours there.
Zicatela Beach
Beach renowned for its superb powerful waves, it is a spot highly sought after by surfexperienced operators. You can go watch them evolve but swimming can be dangerous depending on the season.
